Job Details
Summary
Under the direction of a physician, provides direct patient care including gathering detailed history and performing physical exams.
Performs or orders tests and interprets results.Administers therapeutic procedures as directed.Instructs on care and maintains written charts and records on patients.Maintains appropriate manual and electronic records (EMR).

Certifications
Required: PA licensure; BLS; DEA eligible

Our practice is looking for an experienced and qualified Physician Assistant with expertise in surgery and a passion for helping patients with Ob/Gyn and medical-surgical conditions. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with patients, act as a resource for physicians, and make critical decisions when necessary. Candidates must have an active state license/certification and at least three years of related experience.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with physicians regarding patient-specific issues.
- Assist a physician during surgery.
- Explore the biological, physical, and behavioral characteristics of a living organism using the scientific method.
- Conduct laboratory tests to diagnose diseases.
- Analyze patient records.
- Write reports for physicians.
- Treat patients suffering from acute illness or injury.
- Perform surgery under supervision of a physician.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $117,263.00 - $123,790.00 per year
