Your day-to-day work will include:
This job requisition is designed to solicit interested candidates to serve as key personnel who will support the Department of the Navy's migration of all active non-classified Navy transactions to the Navy ERP SAP application as the single General Ledger. Specifically, you will be a key leader on our team to enable the successful migration of the U. S. Fleet Forces Command, Pacific Fleet, and Navy Reserve Forces Command from the SABRS accounting system and other feeder systems to Navy ERP.
The User Management Expert shall have expertise in leading user management activities for a large scale (large-scale is considered as overall program implementation team>150 Staff) ERP deployment for a public sector client.
Experience qualifications for this opportunity included:
- Responsible for the oversight and management of the end-user account configuration process, as well as the role design and configuration process within SAP to maintain and enhance SAP production operations.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with the end-to-end User Management activities, e.g., production user account creation process, role mapping process, role assignment, and role activation process, associated with a Navy ERP Pre Go-Live Deployment Phase.
- Communicating fluently, accurately, and effectively with staff members and Government Subject Matter Experts (SME and other external entities) for analyzing role problems and designing solutions to satisfy customer requirements, as well as identifying and solving role mapping issues within an SAP production environment.
- Analyzing and determining if a separation of duties (SoD) conflict/risk exists within a group of SAP transactions.
- Thorough understanding of remediating and/or mitigating and communicating SoD risk conflicts.
- Ensuring role assignment adheres to DoD and DON policies.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Fifteen (15 years of progressive, relevant experience. Ideal candidates will have experience deploying functional and technical subject-matter expertise in a particular relevant field in support of State or Federal Government agencies or large, complex companies (greater than 1,000) employees. With four (4) years as experience as the Overall Leader of such efforts and a minimum of two (2) years of DoD Financial Management experience
- Program or project manager, acquisition manager, or business analyst experience
- A minimum of 5 years of DoD ERP experience
- Ability to effectively interface with senior DoD SES staff, academia, and industry in meetings, workshops, and forums
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and on a team
Education Requirements:
Mandatory: Four (4) year degree from an accredited United States college or university in a field of study relevant to their professional role.

Active Secret clearance is required.

Work hours:
