Value Engineering Project Manager Job at Latham Pool Products, Inc
Primary Role: Manage Value Engineering projects in all business units of Latham Group from prove of concept to implementation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the successful completion of projects and initiatives in a wide variety of product lines, including packaged pool, pool liner, fiberglass pool, safety cover, automatic cover, etc.
2. Keep teams coordinated and on-task in pursuit of companywide cost productivity goal.
3. Build world-class project management process and best practice in Latham Group
4. Coordinate with cross-functional stake holders, such as product management, supply chain, finance, manufacturing, quality, sale, legal, IT, vendors etc.,
5. Help generate projects & evaluate project, assemble project team and organize execution.
6. Plan resource, identify deliverables, schedule timeline, track project progress, monitor deadline, prioritize tasks, track various deliverables, and manage risks.
7. Support project owners, identify counter measurement for overcoming project roadblocks.
8. Communicate project status with management and stake holders.
9. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- 7+ years’ project management experiences in diverse industries
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
- Possess cross-functional project management concepts, methods and practices.
- Visual project management and risk management experience
- Must be detail oriented, team player and have excellent follow-up skills.
- Must have effective written/oral communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on person.
- Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%,
- PMP certificate preferred.
