Law office is adding an experienced Veteran Service Officer to our team.

We require you to provide a high level of service to our clients while demonstrating a high level of integrity, accountability, and team commitment. Candidates MUST have five or more years of VSO experience and familiarity with VBMS. This is a remote position.

The primary duties involve file reviews and initial client phone calls for approximately 10 clients per week. This involves a thorough review of the veteran's C-File within VBMS, then providing a memorandum to the assigned attorney with claims and appeals history, and then updating the CRM (Salesforce) for the attorney. This position also involves evaluating evidence and decisions, and developing strategies and arguments for case presentation. Last, the position involves processing appeals and providing updates to clients regarding the appeals submitted.
