Blue Cross Pet Hospital is a long established veterinary hospital that has been committed to providing outstanding veterinary services to the city of San Francisco for over 90 years. We are a full-service, 2-doctor practice located just blocks away from the incredibly beautiful Alamo Square Park. Our facility is open Monday through Saturday and we are closed on Sunday and major holidays.

We are looking for full time and part time Registered Veterinary Technicians or Veterinary Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidates would have veterinary office experience as well as technical skills, but it is not required! We believe in providing opportunities and will train the right people. Responsibilities and Duties:

• Obtain animal temperature & weight
• Animal restraint
• Obtain and process lab samples
• Triage, schedule appointments, and collect payments
• Prepare instruments and equipment for surgery
• Assist in diagnostic, medical, and surgical procedures
• Assist with digital x-rays and ultrasounds
• Administer medication and treatments
• Provide support to clients and doctors
• Prepare estimates
• Assist veterinary receptionists when needed
