Vice President Job at Farm Credit Network
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The Vice President of Credit directs and manages the credit team in the underwriting of the retail portfolio. This VP of Credit will also be responsible for managing the lending services team which is responsible for processing and legal documentation of the loan portfolio. This position is also a member of loan committee for all portfolio segments, including the Agribusiness and Capital Markets portfolios.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
Master’s degree in agriculture, finance, or agribusiness preferred. 7 years credit analysis and decision-making experience and 2 years supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. Advanced knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles, credit analysis and regulatory requirements, proficient knowledge of agricultural industry, economic principles, farming practices and methods, and broad knowledge of agribusiness. Knowledge in reading and understanding income statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports and knowledge of Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook sufficient to create, update and save a variety of documents.
