Vice President of Finance, Manufacturing
Vice President (VP) of Finance is responsible for developing and directing the business unit’s analytical and financial plans and accounting. The VP of Finance will evolve the planning and forecasting processes, report on metrics, and drive business insights to optimize the business unit’s growth. Additionally, the role is expected to drive process improvements for efficiency, scalability and productivity.
Summary of Role and How You’ll Fit In
In this role, the Vice President of Finance, Manufacturing will work with the manufacturing leadership team, OPS finance leaders, and the region and functional business leaders across the manufacturing organization.
This position reports to the: CFO, OPS
Travel Requirement: up to 30%
FLSA Status: Exempt
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and manage the financial initiatives, budgeting processes, and KPI tracking including developing action plans to ensure annual financial objectives are met
- Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results
- Prepares timely and accurate analyses, summaries, and reports of financial data on the operating progress of the business unit
- Create a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting structure that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operational targets
- Routinely review revenue cycle metrics to proactively identify and address issues affecting overall performance
- Manages the business unit’s compliance with company policies
- Partner with business unit’s leadership to ensure the company hits revenue and profitability targets
- Build, direct, and manage the finance team so that it’s able to support the financial strategy for the business unit
- Improve efficiency related transactional and accounting processes, including standardizing and moving activities to the shared service center.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business or other related field
- 15+ years’ of progressive responsibility within a finance organization
- FP&A leadership experience
- Proven ability to influence across functions and level
- Experience with high growth, fast-paced businesses
- Superior analytical skills
- Experience in a Manufacturing business and cost accounting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA preferred
- FP&A leadership experience within a high transactional business
- Planning and Consolidation Tool Experience (preferably BPC)
