Description

We are looking for a new talented and motivated video editor to create premium quality content that matches our vision for our YouTube channels. You will need to be able to consistently and efficiently edit content on a tight deadline. We are also looking for someone who enjoys and knows how to bring a concept or script to life through video.

Requirements

• Pro level skills in DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Previous work experience as a video editor
• Ability to work on a tight schedule (2-3 day turnaround)
• Ability to translate ideas and scripts into complete projects
• Portfolio of previous work
• Strong Attention to detail
• Advanced communication skills
• Ability to edit videos in a desired structure
• Knowledge on social media algorithms
• High school diploma or GED

Your Direct Responsibilities

• Create engaging and entertaining content that attracts and retains viewership, while also attracting new viewers
• Edit video footage ensuring that all deadlines are met
• Transform raw footage into a seamless and polished final product
• Emphasize humorous and noteworthy moments
• Stay up-to-date with and maintain a passion for IRL YouTube content, internet trends, memes, and graphics
• Edit a rough cut of a video within the first day of receiving it
• Familiarize oneself with the channel's content and deliver content that meets its specific standards
• Utilize Effects, Punch-ins and Graphics to enhance and create video assets
• Collaborate with the Post Supervisor to ensure that all notes are reviewed and implemented
