Warehouse Clerk Position

The warehouse clerk will oversee the daily activity of shipping and receiving specialists, warehouse workers, and inventory clerks, ensuring that all products are delivered to customers on time, all inventory is accounted for, and that supplies are replenished regularly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Warehouse Clerk

•Accepts and signs for deliveries to the warehouse, factory, or stockroom.
•Oversees the processing of customer orders.
•Reviews all shipping labels and packaging to ensure that they meet federal regulations.
•Ensures that all orders are delivered to customers in a timely fashion.
•Addresses and resolves any issues with delayed shipments.
•Orders supplies to replenish inventory as needed.
•Maintains, schedules and manages both inbound and delivery schedule.

•Tracking and reporting KPI’s to the management team
•Ensures that all expenditures stay within the company budget.
•Ensures that all shipping and ordering deadlines are met.
•Acts as a primary liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal organization
•Reports any problems, issues, and losses to the company manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•Demonstrates strong leadership qualities.
•Pays close attention to detail.
•Manages time effectively.
•Communicates instructions clearly and effectively.
•Works well with a team.
•Demonstrates proficiency in the use of WMS systems and Microsoft Office Excel.

•Capable of reading and interpreting inventory and warehouse activity reports.
•Exhibits excellent organizational and strategic planning abilities.
•Demonstrates solid problem-solving and analytical skills.

Background and Experience
•High school diploma or GED required.
•Previous warehouse and inventory work experience required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Indianapolis, IN: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
