Located in Devens, MA our headquarters sits inside the boundaries of a functioning U.S. Army Reserve base. We are seeking a “hands-on” Warehouse Manager who will ensure smooth operation of our warehouse and yard by loading and unloading trucks, picking orders for delivery, organizing, and issuing tools and supplies to our field and job site workers.
Responsibilities:
· Ensure all NBK truck drivers and warehouse employees are working efficiently and safely.
· Ensure all material that is received is labelled, inventoried, and stored appropriately.
· Communicate effectively to the project team of what items have been received and for what project.
· Clean and Organize warehouse and receiving yard.
· Pull stock for deliveries, based on material and tool requests emails and texts.
· Manually load and unload trucks and vans as directed.
· Unpack and inspect materials received against purchase orders and packing slips, maintains records of received materials, rejects, and notifies supervisor of broken, missing, or otherwise unsatisfactory items. Electronically notifies stakeholders of all received materials every day.
· Work with our Tool Manager to accurately use ToolWatch® software to receive, issue, and maintain tool inventory for all job sites and ensure that reports get sent monthly.
· Report to the Construction Manager on a daily/weekly basis.
· Assist with other duties when delegated.
Qualifications:
· Forklift operation experience
· Warehouse and Inventory Control experience is preferred.
· Basic Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or plumbing parts and supplies is a huge plus!
· Valid driver’s license with good driving record
· Reliable transportation to get to work each day
· Able to work both indoors and outdoors under typical New England weather conditions
· Must be able to lift up to 50-100 lbs., repetitively.
· Effective communication skills
· Prioritizes safety for themselves and others
· General computer skills and working knowledge of basic web-based software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $46,540.18 - $56,048.39 per year
