Warehouse Pick & Pack / Production Shipping
Come work with a fun, diverse and energetic group of people! We will consider a range of backgrounds and experience levels. The primary duty of this position is to place finished productions in cases (containers) for shipping. General knowledge of appropriate type and size of container and appropriate packing material is important. Learn more about us at: www.rgroup.com.

Starting wage starts at $22.50/hour and goes up based on experiece. This position is Monday - Friday, 8 hours each day, with occasional overtime during our busy season.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pull, pack and ship daily orders
• Count, weigh and verify completeness against work orders and packing lists for accuracy
• Process shipments via UPS, FedEx, prepare bills of lading, and US Mail
• Assist will-call customers and prepare orders on a moment’s notice
• Maintain accurate inventory control within inventory system and report shortages
• Contribute to Warehouse cleanliness and compliance to Food Packaging Safety standards and protocols

Qualifications, Skills, Abilities:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong basic math skills
• Read and speak english to interpret documents and procedures
• Experience with forklift, cherry picker lift and pallet jack is a plus
• Detail oriented and consistently accurate

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

• This person is required to stand for long periods of time. Walk often at a quick pace, stand for long periods, reach with arms and hands, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and work in high, precarious places
• Vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth, and peripheral, ability to adjust focus and distinguish color
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally move up to 100 pounds
• The noise level in a production and warehouse environment is usually moderate to loud
• May experience extreme heat or cold while loading/unloading trucks and containers
• This is a food related manufacturing facility, no doors remain open and it can get warm to hot in summer temperatures
