WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for reliable hard working individual to join our growing online vanilla bean and spice company with day to day operations. This position will pick orders based on the days pick list, process shipping labels from ship station interface and assist with other day to day duties with other team members. This includes but is not limited to packaging, weighing, counting, recording, or even measuring items and different products we distribute. We are looking for a strong motivated individual that is able to work independently and as a team member. This position requires communicating with different team members to accomplish the days goals, prep or upkeep of facility and sanitation.

Day to day functions for this position include but are not limited working with team members to pick, pack or ship orders.

Packaging consists of dry spices, sealing, labeling, boxing, general cleaning and record keeping. This position will include small ware washing, sweeping, mopping, wiping down countertops, shelfs etc as needed and with other team members as scheduled.

Responsibilities:

• Show up on time.. The job is M-F morning shift. Show up on time and lets get work done.
• Be motivated - We need you mentally and physically motivated.
• Safety is a priority. It is expected that you follow all safety standards and procedures.
• Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging and packing goods.
• Accurately Packing customer orders
• Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles.
• Loading and unloading of route delivery trucks.
• Take care of our products through proper handling and storage.
• Properly and efficiently preparing outgoing shipments - accurately keeping inventory.
• Assisting in locating and moving miscellaneous inventory.
• Label packaged products.
• Maintain a clean environment. This includes wiping down stations at the beginning and ending of shift, sweeping and mopping warehouse floor, cleaning bathrooms, taking out trash and other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Perform general warehouse tasks efficiently as assigned .

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and within a small team
• Self motivator - stay busy and keep busy
• Accurate record keeping of lots, weightings, counts etc.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds on a routine basis.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written. We are a small team and as with any relationship comminution is a valuable asset.
• Must be able to stand or sit the majority of the day while performing duties of the job.
