The Town of Edgartown seeks entry-level reliable individual(s) looking for career opportunities in the wastewater treatment field. Full-time, year-round with benefits. The position is both physical and mentally challenging with opportunity to develop mechanical and technical abilities in the operation of a wastewater treatment facility and collection system. Training available for license acquisition and career development. Licensed positions are subject to periodic weekend, holiday and night response for emergency and after-hours calls. Periodic after-hour coverage is scheduled on a staff rotational basis. Applicants must possess a current valid Massachusetts Driver's License, High School Diploma or equivalent. Must maintain full-time residency on Martha's Vineyard within one year of hire. Starting hourly wage for unlicensed individuals is $22.15.
