Babysitters Of Boulder has per diem and summer work available for skilled childcare providers who have strong baby and toddler experience. Excellent supplemental income. Perfect for substitute teachers, graduate students, retirees, parents, or nannies who have some weekdays available. COVID vaccine and current CPR/First Aid Certificate required.

SCHEDULE: You make your schedule and take the babysitting bookings that work with your availability. We have the most need for babysitters who are available during the morning/daytime on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. We serve Boulder, Louisville, Lafayette, Superior, Erie, Broomfield, Arvada, Longmont and Niwot. We do event and hotel sits for the Denver area and Estes Park.

HOURLY RATES: we start at $25.00/hr for up to 2 children, $28.00/hr for 3 children, and $32.00/hr for 4 children. A child from another family (sitter share) is +$10.00/hr. Limit is 4 children per sitter. Our hourly rates may increase in May 2023.

REQUIREMENTS:

• minimum 3 years of consistent and extensive childcare or teaching experience
• in-home babysitting or nanny experience is very helpful
• COVID Vaccine required
• must be at least 18 years of age
• current CPR/First Aid Certification required
• two great childcare references
• clean driving record and a clean background check
• current license
• current car insurance
• car required; a reliable vehicle for your work commute and for transporting children; driving children may be requested for a booking
• on occasion, a parent may ask a babysitter to wear a mask while working inside the home; this is not common but may occur

OTHER PAY DETAILS:

• our babysitters are paid by the parent immediately after the booking and keep 100% of their hourly earnings; the agency does not take any of our profits out of your hourly pay
• clients pay in full for all hours booked, even if they come home early
• gas mileage reimbursement for driving children at 65.5 cents/mile (2023 IRS rate)
• a 48-hour cancellation policy for sits with 50% of the sit paid to you if canceled
• clients pay $25.00 to the babysitter for any booking cancelled in advance (more than 48 hours notice)
