JOB OVERVIEW:
Provide fast and courteous service of food and beverages to members and ensure quality of food and beverage presentation per established standards.
- Supports training for others with their knowledge level regarding the club’s food and beverage products and services.
- Ensures each member’s satisfaction and troubleshoots any member issue as needed.
- Follows proper alcohol and beverage control regulations, including identification of minors.
- Maintains clean, orderly and safe work office area as well as in the outlets.
- Adheres to and promotes health department standards.
- Ensures proper storage of equipment and handling of food to meet health department requirements.
- Follows all Policies and Procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Uses diplomacy whenever interacting or handling complaints from guests and members.
- Understands and oversees execution of restaurant ready procedures for service.
- Understands and oversees execution of restaurant steps of service.
- Understands and oversees proper closing of as needed.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by direct reports.
- Constant walking and standint
- Has a solid knowledge and understanding of food, wine, beer and alcohol product and service
- Handling food objects; plates, trays, glasses, etc.
- Bending, stooping, kneeling
Other:
- Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with members, wait staff, cooks, and supervisor.
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency.
- Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when taking orders, completing paperwork, etc.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
