We are currently seeking an experienced after school youth coach to lead our multi-sport program for grades 3rd-6th. The coach will be responsible for coaching soccer, basketball, and flag football. This is a seasonal position for 4-5 weeks a season, with one practice day and one game day per week. The practice day will be on Tuesdays, with start times at 2:30 pm or 3:15 pm, depending on the assigned school. Game day will be on Thursdays, with a start time of 4 pm. The program is located in the Santee / El Cajon area.

Responsibilities:

• Coach and lead practices for whichever sport season it is soccer, basketball, and flag football
• Develop and implement age-appropriate drills and games for 3rd-6th grades
• Plan and organize team strategy and player positions
• Provide positive feedback and encouragement to all players
• Manage games against other schools Communicate effectively with parents, players, and other coaches
• Ensure the safety of all players during practices and games

Qualifications:

• Must have experience coaching youth sports, preferably with 3rd-6th grades
• Knowledgeable in coaching soccer, basketball, and flag football
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to plan and organize practices and games
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude towards coaching youth sports

Location:

The program is located in the Santee / El Cajon area. If you do not live in the area, please confirm your work location and commute before submitting your documents.
