Overview

Group Treasury is responsible for managing the financial resources of the Firm through capital management, liquidity management, asset and liability management, funding, and other core treasury activities. Group Treasury resides within the Group Finance organization led by the Group Chief Financial Officer. This role resides within Americas Treasury, a component of Group Treasury, based in New York. This is the role of Americas Treasury Analyst - which is a permanent role in the Americas Treasury Division. It is structured to rotate through four separate placements across Treasury functions in the first year, before going full-time in one of the Treasury functions/teams.

What You’ll Do

• The Analyst role will rotate across four placements, in each of the below areas – for broadly ~3 months each time

• You will work within the teams, and gain a broad understanding across Treasury through the year

• At completion of the year, two-way discussions will occur to agree the best and most appropriate permanent location to remain ongoing

• Treasury Regulation

General

• Be responsible, and reliable – take on tasks (as required) and own delivery to completion

• Raise risks and issues when they become visible

• Know when to escalate, and keep key stakeholders informed as required

Skills You’ll Need

• BS/BA degree from a top tier institution or professional designation (e.g., CFA) or equivalent experience

• Structured problem solver with strong analytical abilities

• Proactive and enthusiastic team player who will thrive in a dynamic and changing environment. Aptitude for learning, picking up concepts and running with them

• Ability to understand business drivers – and build knowledge of financial products and services

• Ability to collaborate with multiple business partners and colleagues to facilitate communication and in completion of deliverables

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $85,000 to $140,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration
