Snavely Associates, a remote-first communications firm with 40 years of experience on the leading edge of philanthropic communications, is hiring an Assistant Account Executive.

As an Account Executive at Snavely Associates, you will be responsible for organizing and scheduling work that flows through our firm, coordinating with our internal team and external partners/vendors to deliver exceptional work for our clients. You will have a direct impact on the success and effectiveness of our team as a trusted resource, driver of progress, and guardian of process. You will demonstrate excellent attention to detail and proactive problem-solving and communication skills.

As an Assistant Account Executive, you will:

  • Facilitate the completion of agency work including initiation of projects, preparation and updates to project schedules, and documentation of relevant details.
  • Keep account leaders and creative staff informed on the status of all work in progress and/or information needed to finish or initiate projects.
  • Interface directly with clients, communicating project updates including submission of copy drafts, design proofs, project schedules, printing quotes, and status updates.
  • Assign work to creative staff/freelance talent and take steps required to ensure on-time and accurate completion of each essential milestone in the delivery schedule. Brief creative team, helping them understand and contextualize client needs and vision.
  • Manage print projects and all moving parts including print specifications, bid requests, job details, timelines, instigating proof reviews, guiding clients through mailing/postage processes, and scheduling deliveries.
  • Provide project management and account support for assigned client accounts. Lead smaller-scale and internal projects with the goal of taking on more account management/client engagement over time.
  • Develop familiarity with Ovrture digital platform for both internal and client utilization, coordinating thoughtful content development and maximizing the platform as a communications asset.
  • Handle general administrative and virtual office needs as assigned, including scheduling/travel coordination, documenting staff PTO, and creating Fedex delivery labels.

  • Be able to organize multiple fast-paced projects through steady application of process yet flexibility to meet shifting priorities.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of accountability and ownership for your work.
  • Have exceptional time management, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have a firm grasp on the virtual workspace, including a high comfort level with technology and project management platforms (we use Monday.com).
  • Have a BA/BS or relevant experience in marketing, advertising, philanthropic communications, or higher education.
  • Have three or more years of experience in project management and/or account management. Agency experience preferred.
