Our client is looking for patient, compassionate, and attentive Assistant Teachers to join the Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and PreK classroooms at their premier preschool in Snoqualmie, WA. Conveniently located just half a mile off I90 on Highway 18, commuting to this school is easy! Employment with our client offers a competitive compensation package including salary and benefits.

Salary and Benefits:

· Compensation: up to $20/hour pending qualifications and professional experience. In addition, they offer a mileage allowance to help pay for your commute which can add over another $1/hour to your compensation!!

· Benefits include but are not limited to; employer contribution toward medical/dental/vision insurance, paid holidays, paid time off, 401K with match, mileage allowance, subscription for continuous education, and employee tuition discount

Job Responsibilities:

· Ability to understand and support the education program using “learning through play” philosophy

· Ability to keep children within sight and sound supervision at all times

· Ability to change children’s diapers and/or assist with toileting (where necessary)

· Ability to lift items/children ~50 pounds

· Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with school personnel, children, and parents

· Ability to multitask in a lively environment and work well within a team

· Ability to handle crisis situations, including assisting in evacuating the building during emergencies

Qualifications:

· 18-years-old and high school diploma or GED required

· Experience working with children in a licensed early education facility preferred

· Meet background check eligibility

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
