Teacher Assistant Job Description:
TOP is looking for cheerful, Assistant Teachers, and Teacher Assistant Floats at all three schools located in Wichita, KS.
TOP South - 4600 S. Clifton / TOP North - 2330 N. Opportunity Dr. / TOP Northwest - 2665 N. Arkansas
TOP Early Learning Center is a nonprofit community based preschool, with a mission to deliver a high quality early learning experience to children living in poverty.
The Assistant Teacher is responsible for the items listed below. This is not the full extent of the AT's responsibilities and a detailed job description is available by contacting TOP Early Learning Center 316-749-4909.
- Assist in developing individual guidance and education plans.
- Assist the Lead Teacher in ensuring positive behavior
- Assist with teaching respect and shared responsibility between adults and children.
- Ensure physical, and emotional well-being is maintained for all children.
- Ensure safe and developmentally appropriate play is utilized in all play spaces.
- Work with parents, center directors, family service personnel to ensure partner agencies are enlisted to help our children learn and grow.
- Attend parent and all staff meetings.
- Have fun teaching the kids!
