A Assisted Living Manager (LPN) functions as the manager of our 36 bed assisted living neighborhood (ALF2). Provides daily leadership through the effective selection, orientation, training and daily work direction to staff (approximately 13 individuals) to promote the highest quality of care and services to our Residents. Assigns and monitors work duties and performance of staff. Ensures adequate staffing is maintained for all shifts. Participates in Resident interviews and admissions. Organizes and attends family conferences. Administers time and attendance system for employees.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and/or TRAINING:

• Must be a graduate of an approved LPN Program
• Must possess a current license to practice as an LPN in this state
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care
• Previous geriatric nursing/long-term care experience is a plus
• I.V. Certification is a plus
