Associate Medical Assistant - PMG CP OB GYN

Medical Assistant (MA) I works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing basic patient care to assigned patients. Basic patient care needs will be met though both administrative and clinical duties. An MA I is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. These positions are located at various clinics across Providence Medical Group in the Portland Metro Area (Multnomah, Clackamas, Washington, and Yamhill Counties). You will have a choice of either a home clinic or to be part of our staffing resource pool and float between Many clinics in the Portland metro Area.

• Providence Women’s Clinic – East
• Providence Women’s Clinic, Mercantile
• Providence Women’s Clinic – Reeds Crossing

Required qualifications:

• Has completed an accredited MA Program that includes an externship -or-
• Has completed two years medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
• Upon Hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Vendor Managed)
• Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months)

Preferred qualifications:

• 6 months of prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment
• 6 months of previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR)
