Job Summary:

This position exists for the purpose of providing assistance to the athletics program at Lancaster Bible College in the areas of game and project management.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Provides support to coaching team.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of program operations.


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

  • The desire to grow, develop, and mature, both spiritually and professionally.
  • The ability to create and maintain a Christian professional atmosphere in all internal and external relationships.

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in education, sports management, business, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • A demonstrated faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
  • A demonstrated ability to develop the academic, spiritual, physical, and social needs of college students.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate the uniqueness of Lancaster Bible College to prospective student-athletes and donors.
  • Ability to work independently and can work evenings and weekends to accomplish the tasks necessary for success in this field.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all aspects of the Charger Club with alumni, parents, and friends of Charger Athletics to further develop and enhance the student-athlete experience.
  • Solicit corporate sponsorships and vendor relationships for Athletics.
  • Coordinate project management for events and programs.
  • Provide support and oversight for apprenticeship and internship students within the program.
  • Engage in and direct areas of NCAA governance and compliance.
  • Assist in ensuring mission, vision, and values are measurably being achieved.
  • Distribute, collect, and report on assessments specific to reaching department-wide learning outcomes.
  • Be a contributing member to the leadership team within the Athletics Department.
  • Attend weekly meetings for the Athletics Department.
  • Serve on campus wide committees as requested, as well as other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
