The Audience Engagement Coordinator supports theater, film, and media arts marketing and communication efforts by providing support for project management, social media content and distribution, digital and print communication, data collection, and outreach to numerous audiences. Maintains and updates public relations and helps with communications surrounding events. Seeks out new internal audiences through communications with departments and relevant programs and new external audiences through expanding our impact footprint in Philadelphia, highlighting our programs to prospective students and their families, and broadening the strategies for inclusion of local community members and patrons with disabilities.
The Audience Engagement Coordinator also supports theater, film, music, dance, opera and graduation events, by overseeing daily operations of the Center for the Performing and Cinematic Arts (CPCA) Arts Box Office including related audience development and event promotion tasks for the School of Theater, Film and Media Arts (TFMA). In addition to managing daily operations/performances and training and supervision of student workers, the Audience Engagement Coordinator oversees the keeping of accurate financial records for box office receipts and expenses. Assists with box office reporting and outlooks for each season of events. Maintains high standards of customer service and positive relationships with patrons. Acts as direct liaison for ticketing logistics for both in person and online events. Participates in event planning and coordination for events such as opening nights and VIP visits. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
