Job Description: Bartender

Game Theory Restaurant + Bar is an exciting new concept. Our #1 focus is on the customer experience. Our vision is to create a community environment where friends and family can enjoy a game night filled with laughter and fun. Our menu is centered around gourmet pies, comfort-style dishes, and specialty craft cocktails.

We are looking for passionate bartenders who enjoy a different challenge every day. Our goal is for our bartenders to enjoy a fast-paced work environment while mixing our craft cocktails from curated menu.

Our environment has an emphasis on teamwork, positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. This is not your traditional hospitality job. We work hard and play hard.

This position requires determination and attention to detail. No previous experience required but some previous experience in food service would be preferred.

Responsibilities Overview

• Must successfully complete training program
• Learn and create craft cocktails according to Game Theory standards
• Take orders and serve food & beverages in an efficient manner
• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure the quality of the food and beverages
• Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times
• Be a team player and support fellow team members.

Job Requirements:

• Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages
• Must obtain food handler permit and complete TABC seller training
• Experience in high volume or fast casual restaurant environment preferred
• Able to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
• Ability to transport and carry objects such as high chairs, ice bins and glass racks weighing up to 30 lbs. numerous times throughout the shift
• Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 8 hours
• Ability to communicate effectively, including the ability to speak and write in English
• Ability to listen effectively, process information quickly, and transfer knowledge to others in order to ensure standards of quality are met consistently
• Work authorization: United States (Required)
