Billing Specialist Job at Aftermath Billing LLC
Our billing company has a position open for billing and collections. Our facility provides all levels of care to patients to include Detox, Residential, PHP, IOP and OP. Strong knowledge of insurance collection practices is a must to include but not limited to medical billing and coding, collections experience and payment posting.
Responsibilities include staying in compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations in areas of insurance/third party payers, protecting the confidentiality of patients and staff members, good communication skills with supervisors, co-workers and third party payers, perform other duties as assigned, and excellent organizational skills.
Applicants are required to have at least 2 years of experience in billing and collections for substance abuse facilities, excellent verbal and written skills, knowledge of licensure requirements in accordance with state agencies, knowledge of medical terminology, This is a drug free organization. *Only applicants with previous billing and collections experience will be considered.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
