Bookkeeper
C Devices (CannaDevices) is in the business of distributing accessories to medical cannabis and adult use dispensaries nationwide, and located in Crystal Lake, Illinois. In business for 4 years, CannaDevices is growing rapidly. This is a new position.
The applicant should have 3-5 years of recordkeeping experience, proficiency in Quickbooks and Excel. Cost accounting, Shopify and/or Zoho Books experience is a plus.
Approximately 20 hours per week. Working hours are somewhat flexible and partially remote.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily
● Post cash receipts, including cash receipts to open customer invoices.
● Accounts receivable collection.
● Oversee the entering of customer orders.
● Prepare vendor and other payments for approval and post to accounts.
● Maintain open customer orders and prepare relevant reporting. o (Units / dollars / promise and received dates)
● Maintain open vendor orders and prepare relevant reporting. o (Units / dollars / promise and received dates)
● Prepare and submit data for payroll. Oversee filing of payroll tax returns.
● Other duties as assigned
Monthly
● Prepare monthly closing of the books, including month end journal entries.
● Prepare monthly financial statements (for internal and external needs)
● Supervise monthly physical inventory; book and explain book to physical adjustments.
● Prepare customer sales analysis.
● Report receivable and inventory aging.
● Maintain budget/forecast tools with most recent data.
● Prepare periodic financial analysis as needed, including payroll spending.
● Prepare budget variance analysis. Facilitate annual budget preparation
● Pay monthly bills.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
