The Enterprise Product Management (EPM) team plays a critical role across Best Buy and within core business units that manage product categories. To facilitate continued growth of the Enterprise, the EPM team drives product data management strategies, processes, and supporting infrastructure using a variety of systems. Along with the run-the-business operations, the team is accountable for developing and continuously improving processes, data and technology designed to deliver high quality product data with a relentless focus on driving world class customer experiences.

The Brand Advocate Analyst plays a critical role in the Enterprise by putting a vendor lens on data that they provide as an input to the SKU and product asset creation/management processes. They collaboratively drive the associated content strategy, guidelines and best practices while applying their working knowledge and ability to identify applicable trends. This role requires continual learning and fine-tuning to stay ahead of shifts in the industry. The Brand Advocate Analyst is responsible for analyzing the Brand/category performance and identifying opportunities for improvement. They will partner with the vendor and internal partners to drive a best-in-class customer experience and increase Best Buy’s Net Promoter Score, revenue and market share.

Key Responsibilities:
New Product Submission
Responsible for managing accurate and timely entry of/updates to product data and assets via applicable tools.
Provide content previews, critical on-site support, and expertise for product launch activities on behalf of the vendor
Leverage industry expertise in product data and digital experiences to drive results in for applicable Brand/Category.

Ongoing Category Support
Manage and submit timely updates to product attributes, assets, and digital experiences, on behalf of the vendor, throughout the product lifecycle
Identify, recommend, and influence optimization of product data and updates on behalf of the vendor. For example, product landing pages, product detail pages, brand pages, in-store experiences, etc.

Business Acumen
Responsible for keeping the Brand and Category on the cutting edge through the application of industry trends and best practices.
Responsible for understanding and implementing the Enterprise, category, and vendor strategies to enable strategic growth for their vendor and categories.
Compile and provide exclusive suites of reporting, that contain curated recommendations, analytics, and insights to internal and external partners.
Apply breadth and depth of strategy expertise to reporting analysis to drive content optimization recommendations.
Deliver results against predefined KPIs; which include: data optimization and fill rate.
Demonstrate holistic knowledge and expertise of systems and tools to create efficiencies to deliver an optimal customer experience.

Cross-functional Partnership and Communication
Primary point of contact with cross-functional business partners and vendor contacts to manage the product data, assets, issues, and customer experience for maximized performance

Basic Requirements:
2+ years of experience in e-commerce, marketing, product content management, data management or merchandising
2+ years of strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tell a story and make a recommendation.
2+ years of intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Preferred Requirements:
1+ year of experience in a copywriting role
1+ year of vendor relations
