We are seeking a new or recent MBA graduate to join our fast paced and highly visible NOVA Chemicals Transformation team as a Business Analyst . This team is accountable to support Transformation Portfolio initiatives through the targeted use of Continuous Improvement / Lean tools and techniques to drive business process efficiency, culture, work efficiency and improved safety.

Reporting to the NOVA Transformation Director, you will be assigned to various business improvement projects and work streams across the organization. You will work collaboratively with other functions to provide actionable insights and recommendations through timely and proactive analysis.

This position will be located at our Pittsburgh Corporate Administrative Office in Moon Township, PA.

You Will Use Your Expertise To:
Provide actionable insights and recommendations through timely analysis and reporting
Identify specific business opportunities
Influence stakeholders to support business projects
Assist with project management for selected projects
Coordinate with different departmental teams to produce better business outcomes
Test business processes and recommend improvements
Convert roadmap features into smaller user stories
Write clear and well-structured business requirements/documents
Identify automation opportunities
Create reports, dashboards and visualizations to understand business performance
Analyze process issues and bottlenecks and to make improvements
Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders
Develop and maintain reporting tools
Perform data discovery, analysis and modeling
Collaborate with initiative owners/workstream leads on roadmap planning and prioritization

What We Are Looking For:
Master of Business Administration (MBA) graduate with a Marketing, Management, Sales, Finance or Business Administration concentration with up to 3 years of related experience
Ability to understand and grasp new concepts quickly
Detail oriented with the aptitude and desire for research and analyzing data
Pragmatic problem-solver (i.e. 80/20)
Ability to work effectively in a high pace environment
Expertise in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
Fluent in the use of data tools such as Power BI, with some experience in enterprise-wide data management systems , such as SAP or equivalent
Fluency in Lean and Six Sigma tools/methodology a plus
Strong team player, capable of working and coordinating with many stakeholders
Clear and effective verbal and written communicator with the ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization
Ability to work effectively though virtual communication
Results driven with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Ability to work safely and effectively both in a team environment and independently
Ability to engage with, support, coach and empathize with team members to understand challenges and address issues and conflicts
Ability to implement new ways of working and managing change
Ability to identify gaps and develop gap-closure plans

Additional Information:
Compensation will be commensurate with education and experience
This role requires up to 10% travel
