Job Summary:
As a Business Requirements Analyst at Woodruff Sawyer, you'll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders while taking a hands-on approach to requirement analysis for portal and data projects. With your insurance industry expertise and technical skillset, you'll play a pivotal role in our firm's success by acting as a true partner in capturing business needs and defining user requirements.
What You'll Do:
- Work with internal stakeholders to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs; understand the customer journey and define user requirements
- Engage with business partners and influence project decisions; assess the risks of various solutions and prioritize competing business demands
- Promote architectural consistency and usability standards; define and execute test cases
- Identify opportunities for business-led delivery; coach employees to make use of technology and information
- Develop comprehensive requirements documentation including both written requirements and visual mockups and wireframes
- Create user acceptance test frameworks and execute such tests during the project
- Work with IT Team to assist during requirements elaboration and stories creation process
- Seek and audit requirements traceability matrix with IT teams

Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in technology or a related discipline
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 5 or more years of experience in the insurance indsutry or an allied industry
- Financial services software implementation experience preferred
- Experience in mockup technologies preferred: ADOBE XD, HTML, Javascript
- Proficient in querying and profiling data using SQL, Excel, etc.
- Ability to document technical requirements in a clear and effective manner
- Consulting background preferred

More About Us:
Compensation: Anticipated starting salary between $90,000.00 - $120,000.00. Salary offered will be dependent upon geography, experience, and expertise of the candidate.
This position is eligible to participate in an incentive program to earn additional compensation with a target equivalent to 8% of salary annually, based on individual and Company performance.
