The Buyer is responsible for all day-to-day procurement activities at the Indianapolis, Indiana site. You will create all necessary purchase orders and will work closely with the material planner and master scheduler to support sites production schedule.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $72,700.00 and $109,100.00 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Utilize SAP and Microsoft Dynamics systems to create purchase orders
- Verify purchase orders for completeness and accuracy
- Tracking of open purchase orders, ensure deliveries are on time, expediate process when necessary
- Preform goods receipts on services
- Approve appropriate invoices for payment and work closely with accounts payable team to resolve any invoice discrepancies
- Collaborate with production and supplier quality on new vendor onboarding and setup
- Coordination with various business stakeholders on materials and supplies
- Identify purchase order discrepancies and working with suppliers on returns or damage materials.
- Utilizes computer systems to reconcile and track materials: MS Dynamics 365, UPS, FedEx, etc.
- Maintains quality metrics and key performance indicators.
- Meets revenue, safety, performance and quality goals and objectives.
- Provides exemplary customer service to other departments
- Collaborate with rest of facility team, as well as Advanced Accelerator Applications corporate functions and other facilities
- Collaborate with material planner with monitoring and reporting KPI’s, creates mitigation plans for trending issues.

- Previous purchasing experience. At least 3 years’ experience
