SupplyHouse.com, a fast growing and successful e-commerce company, is looking for a full-time Back-Order Specialist Buying Associate to add to our Buying Team! The selected individual will be responsible for managing our inventory and working with vendors to ensure accurate business transactions.

This is a remote-based role within select states in the United States. At this time, we are only able to employ those located in the following states: Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.

This position will require travel to our NY office headquarters for up to four times per year for internal meetings and team-building activities. The cost of travel for employees out of the area will be covered by the company. Additionally, our offices are always available for staff to use as much as desired.

A company laptop and other necessary equipment will be provided along with a $250 stipend for your work from home space.

Location: Remote (Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Local Time)

Salary: $45,000/year ($21.63/hour)

Responsibilities:

• Monitor expired purchase orders to follow-up on any outstanding material
• Monitor open lines on purchase orders to make changes and update as needed
• Monitor top-selling items to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained at all times
• Develop rapport with suppliers in order to maximize favorable purchasing conditions and ideal working relationships
• Act as back-up or assist other team members when needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional phone etiquette - pleasant and personable demeanor
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated sense of urgency
• Ability to perform cost/price analysis and to prioritize/meet deadlines
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting
