We are looking for a committed teacher to teach at our experiential learning summer camp! In this role, you will provide knowledge and instruction to eager students while inspiring a lifelong interest in STEM, Sports, and Hobbies.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about engaging students and know how to create a fun atmosphere. Previous classroom experience or camp counselor experience is a big plus. Our camps are well known for being highly engaging and memorable, so please be patient and reliable and have an arsenal of ice-breakers ready to go.
This is a great opportunity for school-year teachers or coaches looking to make extra income during the summer.
Requirements
- Teach students during the morning (9 am-12 pm) and/or afternoon (1-4 pm)
- Commute on-site to the campus and assist with arrival and dismal procedures
- Include in your resume any extracurricular interests and leadership
Responsibilities
- Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use the programs we have created to facilitate learning
- Provide instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
- Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments, etc.)
- Communicate class observations to VineyardAppCamp (VAC) team and problem-solve for ways to improve the curriculum for your students.
Skills
- Experience as a teacher, tutor, camp counselor, student instructor
- Knowledge of teaching best practices and willingness to follow the school’s policies and procedures
- Strong Communicability and interpersonal skills
- Well-organized and committed
- Creative and energetic
- Strong moral values and discipline
- Background-check required
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: From $450.00 per week
