Charge Nurse - RN or LVN Job at Oasis at Pearland
We are seeking an experienced Charge Nurse, either LVN or RN, to supervise and coordinate activities of nursing staff. The Charge Nurse is responsible for providing assistance to a patient care team. You should be skilled in duties like giving orders and delegating tasks, while being comfortable with performing basic nursing duties. Since you will be working in a busy environment, we expect you to have excellent communication skills and good teamwork abilities. You are responsible for coordinating and overseeing the care of patients during the work shift. You will oversee the implementation of procedures and policies established by the CMS and Oasis at Pearland. Ultimately, you will assure that the medical needs of patients are being met and health needs are protected.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate the care of the patients in specific units.
- Supervise the staff in charge of each unit and ensure that the patients are treated safely and delivered the necessary care.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to plan and monitor care.
- Analyze patient data and present it to staff in a way that is useful for planning and decision making.
- Educate patients on how to comply with their treatment plans.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
