This position is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance required of the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), the Assisted Job Hazard Analysis software, in addition to software used as middleware for importing and exporting data. This position includes but is not limited to the Technical Development and Administration of all CMMS modules. This position comes with systems administrative privileges, as well as requirements in providing software applications guidance, to optimize maintenance, operation and performance of work. Coordinates with various departments to achieve optimum utilization of operations and maintenance resources to effectively achieve production improvements through usage of industry standard methodologies.

Support the planning, directing and activity coordination of work to accommodate the preventative, corrective, general maintenance and documentation for the Plant Operations Team. Plan, direct and coordinate through the CMMS to ensure the client’s needs are met, KPIs are reached, and daily workload continuously flows. Assigns work orders to Maintenance Planners and Schedulers, coordinating directly with the Management Team duties assigned.

This position shall be performed under the day-to-day direction, control, and supervision of WTCC

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS

  • Perform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees.

  • Perform all work in compliance with environmental permits and regulations.

  • Administrative, organizational and computer skills, including proficiency in MSOffice programs (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

  • Coordinate User Setup, assigning system user Id’s, passwords, user profiles, and setting system preferences.

  • Ability to train others on how to use computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

  • Make modifications to the scheduling as necessary to achieve maximum use of resources including balancing priorities, manpower, material, and equipment availability.

  • Responsible for maintaining CMMS to current levels by performing additions, modifications, and deletions to Preventative Maintenance work orders generated for properties, equipment, and assets.

  • Work with end-users to resolve problems, address functional issues, and provide guidance in the use of the CMMS.

  • Responsible for understanding plant business processes as they pertain to Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Work Control.

  • Prepare required system reports for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting

  • Support the creation, development, and implementation of new Maintenance metrics, and support of the existing metrics.

  • Support CMMS system testing and continual development

  • Support the Waste Treatment Plant Nuclear Safety Quality Culture by emphasizing the values of safety and quality in the performance of work in order to protect self, others, and the environment

REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience in the area of computerized maintenance management system administration experience.

OR

Associate Degree and 12 years of experience in the area of computerized maintenance management system administration experience.

OR

High School Diploma or GED plus 14 years of related experience in the area of computerized maintenance management system administration experience.

Experience: Must have experience in administration and maintenance of relational databases. Must have Work control experience. Thorough knowledge of variety of operating activities such as purchasing, materials, scheduling, task hazard identification/controls, preventive and corrective maintenance. Work Control experience in the DOE / ISMS / VPP / Commercial Nuclear environment is preferred. Experience with CHAMPS CMMS Software is preferred.

  • Must achieve qualification within 6 months of assignment.

Performs desk work, including writing, computer workstation processes, and telephone operation. Arranges for and/or performs presentations, oral reports, planning meetings, and other formal and informal contacts, requiring long periods of sitting. Oversees field activities through inspections, testing and equipment operations, which requires walking, standing, bending, and turning along with wearing of personal protective equipment. Occasional loading, transport, and unloading of tools and/or supplies specific to an activity.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $107,462.78 - $169,763.78 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

This position is located at the Construction Site (22 miles north of Richland) and works a 4 x 10 schedule, M-Th, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
