Duties

Provides executive level support in planning, formulating, coordinating and implementing ARNG programs within the Command Administrative Officer's areas of functional responsibility. Administers the State Internal Control Program and monitors implementation and execution of other state level programs as assigned. Reviews, analyzes and coordinates, as necessary, on a variety of recurring surveys and reports accomplished by key staff members such as USP&FO Management Analysts (Analysis and Internal Reviews), Budget Analyst (Financial and Fund Status Reports), Program Analyst (Readiness Reports, Equipment Status and Unit Reports), and Mobility Planner (Mobilization Plans and Mobility Exercise Reports). Drafts supplemental regulations, policies, guidance, publications, and comprehensive reports which may include statistical data and evaluations. Gathers and examines pertinent data to develop technical correspondence to include response to congressional inquiries or special requests from higher headquarters. Schedules and participates in internal management evaluations and inspections of ARNG units to ensure and maintain regulatory compliance with governing directives. Performs other duties as assigned.

1. Experience working with or knowledge of ARNG operations and programs to properly assess the effectiveness and efficiency of program operations carried out by various organizations at the training center (i.e., supply, engineering, housing, communications, service club, recreation, physical security, safety, troop welfare, etc.).
2. Experience or knowledge in establishing management principles, pertinent regulations and guidelines, coupled with the ability to apply fact-finding and investigative techniques.
3. Experience working with or knowledge of program issues, goals, and objectives, work processes, and administrative operations of the organization.

Education

Education cannot be substituted for Specialized Experience for this position.
