Community Engagement/Event Marketing Specialist Job at Leeds Resources
Seeking a community relations specialist to support external communications, PR and business development initiatives. This position is on a hybrid schedule in downtown Orlando office.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with key media outlets, community organizations an Orlando business market to help enhance corporate brand in local market.
- Collaborate with office leadership to develop and implement strategic marketing and business development plan.
- Make decisions on sponsorships and memberships to increase visibility in the community.
- Write, edit and distribute marketing materials, press releases, newsletters, seminar material, website content and other communications.
- Plan, organize and manage events and seminars and prepare written materials.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 4+ years' experience in communications, marketing, business development/community engagement.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills both internal and external.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
