We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman for our client based in San Diego, CA to join their team. The organization has been in business since 1990 and services clients throughout the San Diego area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the construction and maintenance of concrete structures, including mixing and pouring concrete, setting forms, and finishing surfaces. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, be able to lift heavy objects, and have experience in the construction industry.

Work Experience:

• Minimum 1-year prior experience as a Foreman in the Construction Industry.
• Experienced in reading and understanding all types of blueprints.
• Knowledge of ADA requirements & Codes.
• Experience in all types of concrete and forming aspects.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate all types of equipment.
• Computer literate with the ability to complete paperwork & schedules.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to check forms for proper installation prior to pour.
• Able to pour concrete finishes i.e., hand seeded aggregate, stamp patterns, texture stamp, overlays (micro topping) and top cast finishes.
• Ability to broadcast and float in aggregates for hand seeded finishes including silica grit, granite chips, natural stone from one-eighth to two inches in size, glass, and seashells.
• Ability to strip and finish vertical surfaces on walls.
• Knowledge and ability to apply various types of concrete stains.
• Be able to lead all Journeymen and Laborer crews.
• Ability to supervise subcontractors.
• Ability to communicate with inspectors, clients, architects, engineers & other subs in the field.
• Able to fill out office paperwork i.e., timecards, daily reports, extra work tickets, one week look ahead, truck & equipment reports.
• Make decisions on altering concrete mixes, increasing/decreasing slump, and workability, adding admixtures.

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to understand & manage project budgets.
• Ability to forecast workforce and material requirements.
• Ability to use company software i.e., Procore, Asana, etc.
• Ability to compose & send e-mails.
• Ability to create RFI’s, “As built” drawings, upload daily pictures of projects into Procore.
• Ability to report on progress, productivity, and profitability of each project.
• Manage multiple project(s) or crew(s).

Training:

• OSHA 30
• CPR and First Aid
• Fall Protection

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour
