The Consumer Credit Program Manager is responsible for all components of TBC’s PLCC and Secondary credit programs across company owned retail and franchise entities. This individual will lead a team of external partners that supply primary and secondary credit products to consumers as well as lead, internal leaders, various support departments and brand representatives to meet and exceed budget thresholds on annual basis. Responsible for managing the P/L for the credit program and execution of all programs consisting of revenue sales of 230M to desired expectations of 500M in 5 years. Must be seen as a leader in the space; working collaboratively and cross functionally across the enterprise with business unit leaders, franchisees and retail store associates to maximize credit penetration, while creating a roadmap for future growth, expansion, and increased revenue.

Job Responsibilities

  • Contractually obligated position, responsible for collaborating with Bread Financial counterpart
  • This position specifically will sit on the Joint Management Committee (JMC) and drive decisions and actions
  • Lead and manage the short-term and long-term vision for PLCC and Secondary Credit. Develop and manage strategic and tactical solutions for PLCC and Secondary products, platforms, client launches, etc.
  • Stay on top of emerging trends in payments, new technologies, and competitive insights across the landscape.
  • Develop hypotheses as to how macro factors and industry trends may affect our business.
  • Research, identify, recommend and implement opportunities for adding value to TBCs products through potential new product features/services, optimizing the value proposition, integrating to mobile based solutions, and executing third party partnerships as required.
  • Leads credit committees for both franchise brands and retail operations to create synergy among internal and external stakeholders (franchisees / customers).
  • Build subject matter expertise within the team for new initiatives (i.e. installments, loyalty, digital solutions) and partner with the internal TBC teams that will deliver these initiatives to ensure smooth adoption, transition and sustainment within the operations environment to support franchisees and store managers.
  • Establish and support a communication cadence of the Joint Management Committee and the Franchisee Credit Committees.
  • Be the point of contact and expert for PLCC and Secondary credit.
  • Responsible for P&L performance of program, decisions that impact P&L and product performance, and deep understanding of inputs.
  • Increase PLCC credit acquisitions and penetration to align with annual goals that are set by the credit committees.
  • Create, Establish and execute 1,3 &5-year strategic growth plan with established and new account thresholds and deliverables for existing accountholders and new accountholders to drive sales in a win /win for all stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience running and managing private label credit card and secondary credit programs
  • 10+ years of experience managing large scale business and IT projects
  • Prior experience in consumer credit or banking
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • A high degree of initiative, personal responsibility, and ownership
  • Ability to understand overall business objectives and make accurate, effective decisions
  • Effectively work in a fast-paced environment. Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing business needs
  • Ability to foster relationships with cross-functional counterparts and key stakeholders
  • Effective team member, with proven ability to deliver results when working with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Highly analytical and financial skills. Must be highly organized and have keen attention to detail
  • Ability to travel to individual markets in support of business needs and objectives
