1WorldSync is the industry leader in product content management. With 400 employees across the US, Brazil, Canada, France, Portugal, Switzerland, and the UK, we’re seeking a Contract Manager to support our growing global team.
Reporting directly to our Associate General Counsel, the Contract Manager will provide legal support for all of 1WorldSync’s businesses. This position will focus on leading the negotiation of customer contracts and other commercial agreements.
As Contract Manager at 1WorldSync, responsibilities include the following:
- Drafting, reviewing, and analyzing customer agreements and NDAs, supporting contract negotiations, and drafting and enhancing contract templates
- Managing the executed agreements during their term, including developing amendments and communicating to the customer or vendor
- Managing and developing standard contract documents that are presented and negotiated with customers or vendor
- Overseeing input of relevant information into the electronic contracts database consistent with applicable document retention and other corporate policies
- Overseeing and managing legal operations processes for the legal team
- Other duties as assigned by the Associate General Counsel
Required Skills and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree
- A Paralegal Certificate
- 5+ years of strong experience in commercial contract preparation, review, and negotiation, preferably in-house with a corporation
- 2+ years experience in a SaaS industry
Desired Skills and Experience:
- SAAS experience and/or general experience in the technology arena
- Experience with Ironclad, NetSuite, Google Workspace, etc.
- Strong negotiation skills for commercial contracts, particularly in the area of software or online service offerings
- Self-motivation; ability to work autonomously
- Prioritization skills; ability to manage multiple responsibilities
- Strong communication skills; presenting information clearly, concisely, effectively, and persuasively with internal and external clients and management
- Process-management skills; ability to help identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
- A customer service focused, collaborative attitude; ability and willingness to work as part of a cross-functional team
- Excitement to learn and continue to expand knowledge and skills
- Excellent relationship management and people skills; ability to adapt communication style to a broad mix of people and personalities
- Advanced relationship management skills; forming and maintaining strong working relationships

Additional Details:
- If located in Chicago, this is a hybrid position that requires 3 days per week at our Chicago headquarters location.
