Custodial Services Worker - Macon YDC - Macon GA (FSC) Job at State of Georgia
JOB SUMMARY:
Under direct supervision, performs any combination of duties to maintain order, sanitation, and cleanliness in facilities. Maintains supplies as needed. This position is part-time and requires less than 30 hours per week and is not eligible for benefits.
NOTE: This is a 29 hour per week position.
JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Maintains supplies as needed. Cleans and straightens assigned areas.
- Performs floor care and maintenance.
- Collects, sorts, launders, transports, and distributes linens and uniforms.
- May mend linens and assist in preventative maintenance and repair.
- Observes required safety precautions in disposing of contaminated refuse.
- Operates hand tools.
- Responds to general maintenance requests and janitorial duties inside and outside of facility.
MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination of training and experience that would have enabled the applicant to have acquired the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.
