Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator Job at Julien's Auctions
Julien’s Auctions is seeking a Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator to work in our Gardena office. This temporary, independent contractor engagement is for up to 3 months, with the possibility of becoming full-time.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) post auction coordination with consignors, customer support, resolving customer and client issues, tracking and receiving incoming consignments, processing property, printing and tagging property with barcodes, coordination of return shipments, scheduling customer pick-ups/drop offs, data entry, scanning documents, performing various administrative and clerical duties, assisting staff on various duties and responsibilities, engaging in and managing special projects, and dedicated support for our logistics team.
The ideal candidate enjoys a mix of admin and physical work, has an interest in pop culture, art, music, books, or antiques.
Position reports to the Director of Operations.
Qualifications:
Must have excellent written and verbal skills, needed to interact with clients in person and via email
Prior experience with working with all levels of management and staff
Reliable and able to meet deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail, extremely organized, and excellent communications skills
An aptitude for being a self-starter
High productivity level
Ability to stay focused and work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
A willingness to assist with special projects and time-sensitive tasks as needed
Microsoft 365 proficiency and willing to learn new software
Overtime may be required to work during or after auctions
One year of inventory control, logistics, or similar experience preferred
Warehouse and, or Retail experience a plus
An interest in entertainment and pop culture preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
