EBN Industrial Supply a Bostwick-Braun Company, has been in business since 1989 and serves the tri-state from 7 locations with headquarters in Evansville Indiana. We are a full line distributor of industrial supplies, fasteners, PPE, and specialty cutting tools. EBN, one of the region’s largest industrial distributors is looking for a talented, enthusiastic Customer Service professional to build relationships, promote quality products, and deliver first-class service from our location in Evansville, IN.
Specific duties may include:
- Entering sales orders, quotes, and sourcing items.
- Researching customer back-ordered merchandise, scheduling expedites shipments, and processing merchandise orders/ cancels as directed.
- Answering customers' questions and sending additional information per email.
- Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
- Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
- Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
- Staying informed about competing products and services.
- Upselling products and services.
Specific qualifications include:
- Business, Sales, or other related field experience
- Knowledge of industrial sales preferred
- Specific industry knowledge, including both familiarity with product lines and the sales process is preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Superior time-management and organization skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Team Player
- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm 40 hours a week
