As a Delivery Driver you will work in an exciting and fast paced environment, collaborating with a Driver Coordinator to ensure that all deliveries are made in a safe, efficient and effective manner. You will act as a liaison between the facility staff and A&E Pharmacy delivering medications to the facilities, which require a strong sense of urgency. As part of the A&E team, you will assist in the planning and set up of new and existing delivery runs when requested by management.
As a Delivery Driver, You Will Get To
- Work with Driver Coordinators when needed to ensure that deliveries leave the pharmacy at the appropriate time.
- Maintain company cars by cleaning inside and out, fueling, and reporting any mechanical issues immediately to management.
- File paperwork in appropriate filling area.
- Perform other duties around the pharmacy when directed by management.
Position schedule: Flexible. Drivers do not start work before 1:30pm. Weekend availability is required, reduced hours.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current and valid driver's license
- Must meet the requisite requirements to drive a company vehicle
- Must possess and maintain a clear driving record
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Previous experience using basic internet map programs such as Google Maps
- Must be able to multitask and work under limited supervision
- Must be able to lift and carry up 25lbs while walking upstairs
- Must be able to be physically active for entire shift, as well as stand for intermittent periods of time.
- Must also be able to bend down, bend knees, and lift at least 25 pounds
