The St. Louis Jewish Federation has an excellent opportunity for a Development & Fundraising Specialist for our NextGen Affinity Group!

We are seeking a Development Specialist to develop and execute strategies to support members within the Young Adult and Next Gen community. This position will serve as a part of the Development team, while working closely with lay leaders to maximize education, engagement, volunteer leadership and philanthropy among young adults in the Jewish community.
A day in the life of the for this Development Specialist- Next Gen Affinity Group position includes:
- Creating and implementing strategies to promote engagement of young professional volunteers and donors
- Planning and executing various events and programs, including campaign-related events, education or engagement-oriented events, community service, and leadership development programs
- Implement development strategies to increase the dollars raised including a personal portfolio of approximately 80 donors and prospects.
- Development of moves management donor pipeline with clear targets and metrics for growing Young Adult segment
- In coordination with Federation’s Communications Team, manage YPD’s social media accounts and online presence.
Our ideal Development Specialist- Next Gen Affinity Group candidate possesses:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-3 years of experience in annual fundraising, donor engagement, customer service, sales, or relationship or account management
- Event planning skills
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to meet, greet and educate people with confidence and poise.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Valid Drivers’ license and clear driving record is required

We offer a fun, collaborative team environment with excellent health and wellness benefits. Our competitive compensation package includes a base salary of $55,000 - $65,000. This position will work in a hybrid work environment, including 2-3 days per week at the Millstone Campus in Creve Coeur and some nights and weekends.
