Job Description

The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for collecting and entering product information and content from internal and external sources. This position is also accountable for publishing the product content to the appropriate product groups within the LeMans content system. Additionally, the Digital Content Specialist will assume responsibility for assisting in the development of online content best practices for product information collection, verification, and publishing.

The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills, work ethic, and a passion for e-commerce and CMS tools. The position requires a “what’s best for the business” mindset and can achieve expectations in an independent environment.

The Digital Content Specialist position works on the Digital Services team, and reports to the Digital Content Team Manager.

The candidate is someone who:

• Has strong Microsoft Office and JIRA skills
• Understands Content Management Systems and product data fulfillment
• Ability to interpret vehicle model terminology and enter data
• Has experience working with digital/online product content
• Has the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Knowledge of power sports equipment is a plus

Essential Functions

• Gathers, curates, and edits product content
• Maintains product data/assets using the Content Management System
• Organizes, edits, and proofreads product descriptions, images, videos, and feature content
• Enforces the consistency of the online product representation, including, but not limited to, product descriptions, technical attribute selection, and merchandising of the part to product relationships

Non-essential functions

• Communicate to the Purchasing team to gain access to part data
• Testing and validation of CMS testing and updates
• Confluence document creation and management

Required Qualifications and Education

• Associate degree
• 3+ years’ experience in digital/online content
• Understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS) and product information
