Direct Care Professional Job at INDEPENDENT OPPORTUNITIES, LLC
Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or a GED (exceptions may be made by the Administrative Director, if a high school diploma or GED has not been obtained, on a case-by-case basis).
Direct Support Professionals must also complete background checks through the Division of Criminal Investigation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Family Services, and the DFS Central Registry screening.
Driving is not a requirement for the position but it is preferred. A valid Wyoming Drivers License, a copy of current vehicle liability insurance, and a DMV background check is required for all drivers. All employees who choose to drive are obligated to notify the employer immediately of any driving violations, restrictions placed on his or her license, or any changes in insurance coverage. Direct Support Professionals will also be required to meet the following requirements: current CPR and First Aid training and they may be required to lift 50 pounds or more in the course of their duties.
