Your Role:

The Director, Commercial PMO - Life Science Services (LSS) will be responsible for tracking, coordination, and execution of the critical projects required for the success of LSS Commercial. In addition to assisting with coordination and setting a high standard across contributing teams, the Director, Commercial PMO will own and drive projects that are highly cross-functional and require work to be executed in coordination across multiple LSS commercial teams. In addition to project work, you will also be expected to contribute to the creation of a new service-focused business unit and commercial ecosystem.


  • Organize governance and track execution for LSS Commercial priorities; help identify roadblocks and challenges risking project success
  • Act as delegate for Head of Commercial, Life Science Services to represent LSS in internal meetings, as well as drive select strategic commercial initiatives, from development through successful execution
  • Partner with Head of Commercial, Life Science Services to coordinate key meetings
  • Assist and communicate with LSS LT in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation on critical commercial topics
  • Review, design, and execute improvements to cross-functional project execution; find knowledge/skills gaps and help address them
  • Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity
  • Independently develop clear and well-defined plans, driving strategy into actions and delivering measurable results
Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years sales and/or marketing experience in Life Sciences Industry; Pharma Services (CDMO, contract testing) strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong project management skills, with focus on interdepartmental coordination and communication; experience in organizing and directing projects spanning multiple teams and departments
  • Demonstrated experience providing intellectual and task leadership on complex projects
  • Ability to work independently in an unstructured environment, think on your feet, and respond with confidence and creativity
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
