As Director of Accounting and Administration, you will be responsible for monitoring the financial health of the Company, maintaining the financial records, keeping the office running smoothly, and overseeing administrative support. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Maintain, manage, and analyze the financial records of the Company. Compare actual results to the budget and communicate variances to management.
  • Enter vendor invoices into the system and print checks for payment.
  • Generate invoices for wholesale and distribution customers and track the status of accounts receivable.
  • Handle all bank deposits and process payroll.
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions.
  • Book direct customer sales, which are processed in Figure, into QuickBooks on a regular basis.
  • Perform the inventory costing (with assistance the first year).
  • Work with third party accountants at Moss Adams on the Annual Financial Review and tax returns.
  • Assist in overseeing special projects and tracking progress towards company goals.
  • Work with financial institutions to submit information for compliance with debt, record principal and interest payments and monitor the use of the Line of Credit.
  • Assess accounting operations and offer recommendations for improvement.
  • Perform basic office tasks, such as data entry, organizing work schedules, answering phones, taking messages, sorting mail, maintaining and updating filing, operating office machines, and arranging equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors, clients, and coworkers.
  • Follow established policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ensure the office is stocked with necessary supplies and that all equipment is working and properly maintained.
  • Plan and schedule office events.
  • Build and expand on skills by engaging in educational opportunities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist with the onboarding process of new personnel and providing any office-related training.
  • Facilitate communication between management and personnel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
