The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $125,000.00 - $225,000.00 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What You Will do in This Role:

• Lead and manage a team of DevOps engineers, ensuring they deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions that meet business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions that are secure, reliable, and scalable.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive infrastructure-as-code strategy that enables efficient, automated deployment of infrastructure and application code.
• Build and maintain an edge deployment strategy that enables quick and reliable deployment of code to edge devices. This includes managing device-level configuration, secure communication protocols, and monitoring and troubleshooting edge deployments.
• Develop and maintain a strategy for Anthos, including the implementation of service meshes, multi-cluster management, and workload migration. This includes defining and implementing best practices for service mesh architecture, enabling hybrid and multi-cloud deployments, and optimizing cost and performance for Anthos-based workloads.
• Implement MLOps best practices to enable the efficient and reliable deployment of machine learning models and pipelines. This includes designing and implementing scalable infrastructure for model training and inference, versioning and management of models, and monitoring and optimization of ML pipelines.
• Ensure all infrastructure is properly monitored and alerting is in place to quickly identify and resolve any issues that arise. This includes defining and implementing a comprehensive monitoring and alerting strategy for infrastructure, applications, and edge deployments.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the continued availability of critical systems. This includes defining and implementing backup and restore processes, failover and recovery procedures, and regular testing and validation of disaster recovery plans.
• Manage budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This includes developing and managing budgets for infrastructure and cloud services, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing resource utilization across teams and projects.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations to leadership for the adoption of new technologies and approaches. This includes staying up-to-date with the latest developments in cloud computing, DevOps, edge computing, and machine learning, and evaluating their potential impact on our infrastructure strategy.

What We are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in DevOps, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive experience with Google Cloud, AWS or Azure, including cloud infrastructure design and management, virtualization, and containerization.
• Strong experience with infrastructure as code, including tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with edge deployment, including tools such as AWS Greengrass, Azure IoT Edge, or Google Edge TPU.
• Experience with Anthos or comparable technologies, including service meshes, multi-cluster management, and workload migration.
• Experience with MLOps best practices, including versioning, automation, and monitoring of machine learning models and pipelines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize competing demands.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements for cloud infrastructure and applications.
